Abby Continues to Impress!

The Lone Wolf at Wildwood has put up some more impressive numbers for our little competition.  Ms DeShane has managed to put away a total of 4 books with a page count of 1147!!  Woot Woot!!  Evidently this was a slow month for Madame Librarian but, I'll take that kind of slow any day.

Summer Is Here! I Can Tell Because FVs Participation Numbers Went Down. :-(

Well, the reference staff is off and our numbers took a hit this month.  However, we still put in one heck of a fine showing!  My hope is that we will hear from our absent peeps for the next month.  That is if they check their e-mail over the summer.  ;-)

Abby, the sole librarian at our newest campus, has yet again reported very impressive numbers for one that is so busy.  She managed to put away 6 titles this month for a total of 2,045 pages!   She was disappointed that her totals weren't higher.  "Pshaw", I say!  Outstanding work Ms. DeShane!

I'd like to close out this posting with a shout out to Maurice Sendak, whom we lost this week.  The man touched every one's childhood with his wonderfully adventurous stories and humorous illustrations.  We lost a legend.

Our President reads Where the Wild Things Are to a group of children. I love his expressive face.  I think he enjoys the story as much as the kids do.
